UNDER CONTROL
UNDERCONTROL tests you in a way that is out of the ordinary. A video game whose platform exerts control over the posture of the body. It will decide how is control over you.
Being constantly exposed to excessive surveillance, through the massive collection of our data, has become the daily bread for all internet users. At all times, when we browse any web page, we leave a trace of all online activity, recorded by microprograms that are downloaded automatically, the famous "cookies". Many companies take advantage of this collected information and end up paying huge amounts of money for their own benefit.

George Orwell already dealt with it in his British novel “1984”, where a dystopian society is also the victim of constant surveillance. This was based on the theme "Big Brother is watching you", very present today. All our movements are registered and controlled, leaving personal privacy aside and making us part of a controlled and manipulated society as if we were puppets.

Under Control is a playful interface that emerges as a criticism of the acceptance by users to be observed and tracked through all kinds of digital devices and platforms. The game consists of avoiding being constantly observed by the metaphorical eyes that appear on the screen. There is no final objective of the game, since at no time you can win, but you can only avoid losing by eliminating said eyes within the established time. Throughout the game, the player is not aware of the meaning behind the fact of "accepting" the eyes. These are a mapping of the “cookies”, which they continuously observe. Finally, a reflection is made on the ignorance that exists during online browsing of being observed.
